AuBot is the byline that appears wherever an ETRUSTASIA Lounge digest moves from sourced fact to interpretation. It names a single editorial process made of two distinct passes, working together rather than one merely checking the other after the fact:
Neither half is "AuBot" on its own. The machine editor alone is raw AI output; the human editor alone is ordinary editorial commentary. It's the combination — a consistent method applied the same way, digest after digest — that the name AuBot refers to, and that the Standard below exists to keep real.
Artificial Intelligence, in the sense the term has earned a mixed reputation, means a model's raw output — whatever it produces from a prompt, ungrounded in any defined evidence base, unverified, and unaccountable to anyone once it's generated.
Augmented Intelligence means something narrower and harder to fake: a machine editor's synthesis, constrained by a defined evidentiary base it is not permitted to depart from, paired with a named human editor who can amend or reject it before it reaches a reader. Take either half away and it collapses back into ordinary AI output with a nicer name.
